| Puerto Rico: Streets of Old San Juan www.marsette.com |

Old San Juan, what an enchanted place! Out of my 10 days stay in Puerto Rico (mainly to attend the World Salsa Congress in San Juan), I spent 4 afternoons just wandering through the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan. Needing no map to guide me, I was purely content with turning left or right eagerly anticipating the next stream of colors and architecture this quaint city offered. Much to my dismay, most of the apartment doors and window shutters were firmly closed, possibly to keep out the summer heat but on occasion I'd spy a balcony above with it's shutters wide open, curtains fluttering with the breeze and a little table and chair and beautiful potted plants... such a romantic site. OHHhh, to only have such a room with a view!
